Fall Dental Health Blog Post Roundup
As October comes to an end, we decided to put together a fall roundup of dental health blog posts. This may surprise you, but several of them are geared toward Halloween and pumpkin-related themes! Here’s a quick look at what we’ve shared over the last couple of months:
Pumpkins & Dental Health: Pumpkin is a vitamin-packed fruit that not only protects your teeth and your dental health, but also positively impacts your overall health. In this post, we take a closer look at the vitamins and minerals that can be found in pumpkins, AND that provide oral health benefits.
Wild Turkey 5 Mile Run: Join members of the HDG family as we proudly sponsor the 19th Annual Wild Turkey 5 Mile Run on Thanksgiving Day. This amazing event benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem and is a perfect opportunity to get some exercise in before you spend the day festively feasting!
Healthy Halloween Snack Ideas: We first posted about healthy Halloween snacks for kids in October 2020, but we’ve since refreshed our post with some new snack ideas for Halloween 2022! Explore our updated post for some creatively healthy Halloween snack ideas to incorporate into your Halloween festivities.
Spooking Halloween Candy Cavities: Halloween is more like a season than a holiday. Especially here in Salem. The entire month of October is devoted to spooky surroundings and tasty treats. Check out our tips on how you can help your kids (and yourself!) to scare away Halloween candy cavities and other dental health-related issues as you navigate October in New England.
Periodontal Treatment & Dental Health: September was National Gum Care Month so as a part of our effort to bring awareness to this campaign, we shared information on how to maintain healthy gums as well as about why periodontal treatment is so critical to your dental health and your overall health. The good news is that periodontitis is highly preventable and generally occurs due to poor oral hygiene. Brushing twice per day & flossing daily, along with regular dental checkups, can greatly reduce your chances of ever developing periodontitis.
Dental Health Reviews from Our Patients: We can’t share enough about just how fortunate we are to have a loyal patient base that continues to support the HDG mission year after year. We truly appreciate when our patients take the time to share the specifics of their dental experiences with us, and with those seeking a new dentist. These dental reviews are incredibly powerful and have helped to generate referrals that consistently elevate the Highland Dental Group name. Check out some of our recent dental health reviews!
Restorative Dentistry & Dental Health: Restorative dentistry refers to how we replace missing or damaged teeth, and the procedures and treatment options that this may include. From one-day crowns via CEREC® technology to tooth-colored fillings, silver amalgam fillings, inlays, onlays, fixed bridges, dentures and more, this post contains everything you need to know about restorative dentistry.
That sums up a quick recap on our September & October blog content. Have something specific you’d like us to include in an upcoming blog post? We’d love to hear! This is meant for you, our patients, and those interested in all things dental-related. Feel free to drop us a line or to share your idea in the comments!
