Dr. Cassandra Richard (Tavares)
Dr. Richard grew up in Lynnfield, Massachusetts and currently resides there with her husband, two boys, and new puppy. She was on a veterinary medicine track until after college when she realized her true passion for working with people and for dentistry. Whether doing an exam during a routine cleaning or preparing your tooth for a crown, her goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible throughout the process. Dr. Richard especially enjoys family dentistry and believes one of the most rewarding aspects of her profession is helping all family members achieve optimal oral health. From grandparents to grandchildren, Dr. Richard welcomes patients of all ages, even those just getting their first tooth!
Dr. Richard is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society and the North Shore District Dental Society. She understands that there is more to dentistry than is taught in dental school and is always learning more through continuing education.

Interesting Facts
After graduating from Tufts, Dr. Richard traveled to the Himalayas with the Himalayan Health Exchange on a dental and medical expedition to provide care to under-served populations in remote regions of India.
Dr. Richard and her husband, Greg, enjoy spending time with their family, traveling, and giving back to the community. They have a strong passion for and are avid supporters of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Salem.
